| Penny sat in my lap much of the time that I was building this website and was not to happy that my attention was divided! If you are an "animal person" I can't think of another organization of its kind that is more worthy of your support. If you go to their website please read about how the organization got started. It is very inspiring! We were so lucky to have adopted Penny. She has been one of the most loving pets we have ever had and we can't imagine life without her! |

| In memory of my Dad a portion of the proceeds of BEAR-IN-A-BOX sales is donated each year to the SALVATION ARMY Dad was a self taught artist and any talent I have came from him! Dad grew up during the depression in Columbus NE and left home at 16 to RIDE THE RAILS and start his sign business. He carried a sign kit with lettering on the side which read: "SIGNS COAST TO COAST". He worked his way by rail across the West and around most of the country at a time when work was hard to come by. He could always count on "Sally" for a hot bowl of oatmeal when his pockets were empty.
